Full Description

Your day starts with pickup at your accommodation in Lisbon and a scenic drive towards the mountains of Sintra. The first highlight is usually the Pena Palace, with its colourful towers and dramatic location high above the town. You can walk around the terraces and, if you wish, visit the interior (entrance ticket not included).

We then continue to the mysterious Quinta da Regaleira, a property rich in symbolism, gardens and underground passages. Here you will find lakes, grottoes and the famous Initiation Well, where legends and esoteric references meet romantic architecture.

After some free time in the historic centre of Sintra – perfect for lunch or a pastry stop – the tour continues towards the Atlantic coast. Weather and time permitting, we visit Cabo da Roca, the dramatic cliffs that mark the westernmost point of mainland Europe.

From there we follow the coastline through the Guincho area and arrive at Cascais, a former fishing village that became a refined seaside resort. You will have time to stroll through the old town, walk along the promenade or simply enjoy a drink by the sea before returning comfortably to Lisbon.
