Full Description

You are picked up at your accommodation in Lisbon and travel north towards Fátima, a town known worldwide for the Marian apparitions reported by three shepherd children in 1917. During the drive, there is time to learn more about the history and significance of this place for millions of pilgrims.

On arrival, you will visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, which includes large open squares, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Chapel of the Apparitions, built on the spot where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared.

You will have free time to pray, attend Mass (depending on schedule), light a candle or simply walk quietly around the sanctuary grounds. The atmosphere of Fátima is often described as peaceful and contemplative, regardless of personal beliefs.

After the visit, your driver will take you back to Lisbon in comfort.
